Speaker Bio
Thomas Sennhauser is the chief technology officer (CTO) and business lead for networking and communication at Intel Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ). Based in Singapore, he plays a pivotal role in supporting service providers, network equipment providers, and partners throughout their transformation journey, with a strong focus on communications network transformation and 5G wireless technology. Thomas joined Intel in 2018, and prior to becoming the CTO, he served as the regional technical director for networking and communication, overseeing APJ and China.
A seasoned tech industry veteran, Thomas has over 20 years of experience in various areas, including business consulting and development, sales, delivery, and general management. Notably, he has held key positions such as CTO and general manager at Hewlett Packard Enterprise for communication, media, and entertainment in APJ, where he was responsible for the software-defined networking (SDN) and network function virtualization (NFV) business.
Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronic and Software Development from Juventus Zurich, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen Switzerland.
