Overview

The GSMA Digital Nations Asia vision is a roadmap for regional prosperity in the digital age. This Policy Leaders Forum brings together policymakers, regulators, and key players from the mobile ecosystem to translate this vision into tangible actions.

Over three interactive sessions we will explore the critical building blocks of Advancing Digital Nations in Asia Pacific.

Building the Foundation: A robust digital infrastructure is the cornerstone of a thriving digital nation. Yet, the APAC region faces significant investment gaps that hinder access and progress. We will explore strategies to address the investment gap and ensure a sustainable, inclusive digital infrastructure for the future.
Powering Innovation: Unleashing the potential of AI examines fostering an innovation-friendly environment that allows the mobile ecosystem to thrive with the emergence of new technologies like AI.
Building Trust and Resilience: Increasing concerns about cyber threats, network failures, scams, child online protection, and misinformation are exerting pressure on policymakers, regulators, and the mobile ecosystem to take greater responsibility to build trust in the digital age.

Capacity Building training on "Climate Change and the Mobile Industry"

Join us for a free, invitation-only, in-person training session on "Climate Change and the Mobile Industry". Available exclusively for Policymakers and Regulators, the one-day course will run at the Westin Josun Hotel in Seoul, on Monday 30 September, before M360 APAC and the Policy Leaders Forum.

The GSMA Policy work in Asia Pacific

GSMA Asia Pacific focuses on the promotion and execution of the GSMA’s global programmes and advocacy initiatives at the regional level, as well as managing and delivering regional priorities defined by its members through GSMA governance bodies. We work closely with operators and members in the wider ecosystem through our regional communities and international events including MWC Barcelona and the Mobile 360 Asia Pacific. The teams represent the GSMA’s views and initiatives at regional institutions meetings and events, with offices in Hong Kong and New Delhi.
