Shirin is an executive with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects, experienced legal and E&C professional with the practice in telecommunications, private equity, financial services and energy industries.
Shirin has led establishment and development of corporate governance systems in local businesses at early stages of development of Azerbaijani economy, heading internal and external projects targeted to uphold the businesses to the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct in business operations.
Shirin has also led development of the 1st ESG report by Azercell Telecom, leading mobile operator in the country, verified by independent third party.
Shirin’s current primary focus is leading functions enabling telecommunications (MNO) business to operate in prudent, ethical, sustainable way in accordance with the local regulatory, E&C, HSE requirements with the consideration of international benchmarks.
