Ximena Pérez is a dynamic professional leading Telco Business Development and Sales efforts across the LATAM region, with a special focus on Open vRAN, RAN Intelligent Controller, and the Service Management and Orchestration framework. Her journey with VMware spans over two years, during which she has been instrumental in promoting and nurturing the growth of Telco Cloud and RIC platforms for Radio Access Networks.
With 18-years of experience in the telecommunications industry, she has consistently played a pivotal role in actively collaborating with Communication Service Providers to facilitate the adoption, deployment, operation, and modernization of various network technologies, including VoIP, IP/MPLS, 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G Radio Access Networks.
Ximena holds the title of Electronic Engineer and boasts several vendor-specific certifications. She also possesses a Professional Certificate in Digital Transformation from MIT-Massachusetts Institute of Technology – Professional Education.
