Jerónimo Diez de Sollano is Vice President and Chief Information Officer at AT&T Mexico. He has over 22 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, 18 of which he has spentdeveloping his career at AT&T in a variety of Engineering and Operations technical roles such as: Network Operations, Planning and Mobile Network Engineering, Network Experience and Performance, Data Analytics, IT Architecture, and Technological Implementations.


Since 2020, Jerónimo has led the transformation of AT&T’s IT department into a service area for the business, modifying work dynamics through the adoption of the Agile Methodology, defining a structure aligned to the different business units, and establishing a culture of transparency and collaboration. The following are some of his most important achievements:


· Stabilization of systems achieving 99.5% availability since 2021.


· Planning, implementation, and productive release of the new Prepaid system (Matrixx).


· Implementation of the Agile Methodology as an enabler of Digital Transformation and the structural transformation of IT to align technology to business units.


· Technological management of the first customizable mobile plan in the Mexican market, AT&T Ármalo, now AT&T Premium.


· Migration of IT platforms to the cloud.


Additionally, Jerónimo developed and led a multidisciplinary team of advanced analytics to define and implement improvement actions for the experience of mobile phone users connected to our network, generating valuable information for the following teams, Operations Technicians, Network Engineering, Sales, Marketing and Strategy.


Jerónimo was recognized in 2022 and 2023 as one of the 100 Best CIOs by CIO Mexico for his contribution to the technological growth and digital transformation of AT&T Mexico. Likewise, he has been recognized for two consecutive years by HITEC as one of the 50 leaders with the greatest positive impact in the technology industry in Latin America, Spain and Portugal.
