Session Description

Holomedicine and 5G: APAC is at the forefront of applying Holomedicine, which combines AI, augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) with medical applications. Surgeons utilize AR/VR for preoperative planning, training, and even remote surgery. Thanks to 5G’s low latency and high bandwidth, precise medical procedures can be performed remotely, enhancing patient outcomes.

Smart Hospitals with 5G: 5G networks revolutionize hospital management systems, robotics, asset tracking, and energy efficiency. Smart beds, medication dispensers, and patient tracking systems benefit from seamless connectivity. Additionally, doctors can conduct real-time video consultations with patients, regardless of their location, leading to timely diagnoses and efficient treatment. High-resolution imaging (such as MRI and CT scans) can be transmitted securely via 5G networks. Radiologists and specialists collaborate remotely, resulting in faster and more accurate diagnoses.

During this session, medical experts will share their experiences on leveraging the latest technology to advance healthcare services in efficient and effective manner.
