Heedon Chang has been with Siemens Digital Industries since 2004, working in the Process Automation (PA) business unit. With over 20 years of experience, he specializes in digital communication technologies for manufacturing, including Profibus, industrial Ethernet, and industrial wireless communication. He has led projects in industries such as automotive, chemical, steel, and industrial logistics, driving digital transformation.
In addition, Heedon serves as a full-time voting member in IEC TC 65 under the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards (KATS) since 2004. IEC TC 65 oversees international standards related to industrial-process measurement, control, and automation, covering areas like industrial communication networks, functional safety, cybersecurity, and system integration in automation.
Heedon holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Soongsil University and remains a key contributor to global industrial communication standards.
